A house full of children is how the Durrants like it, having raised four of their own, adopted two more and fostering more than 30 children over the past 8 years.
Family and Children’s Services Niagara is excited to be implementing Wendy’s Wonderful Kids, a signature program of the Dave Thomas Foundation for Adoption that will bring children waiting to be adopted from foster care one step closer to safe, loving and permanent homes.
The dolls look like the medley of kids who will cuddle them. They have white skin. Dark and light brown skin. Black, blonde and brown hair. Even orange and bright pink.
They are the essentials any young person needs to move out on their own. The list can add up, but not everyone has parents to help absorb the cost of being launched into adulthood.
