During the month of November, FACS Niagara honoured Adoption Awareness Month as a time that reminded us of the importance of permanency and openness, and the positive impact that this has on children and youth in our community.

Jayden Polgrabia, a Niagara-on-the-Lake resident, receives the 2023 Outstanding Youth in Philanthropy award by the AFP's Golden Horseshoe Chapter. His dedication to community service and the Mountainview LemonAID Day fundraiser for FACS Niagara earned him this honor. Over 100 families joined, raising $100,000, funding 500 weeks of camp.

To celebrate the heartwarming impact of kindness during the holiday season, Tim Hortons is launching its first-ever national Holiday Smile Cookie campaign on Monday, Nov. 13, 2023, with FACS Niagara chosen as one of the beneficiaries of the campaign.

Niagara's Mountainview LemonAID Day raised $100,000, benefiting FACS Niagara and providing summer camp opportunities for 330 local children. Sponsored by Mountainview Building Group and Tim Hortons, the event featured 100 LemonAID stands.
